Jackie Courson started his auctioneering career in 1981 after graduating from the Nashville Auction School. Since that time he has conducted a host of auctions including antiques, automobiles, livestock, estates, and equipment. Jackie is also known throughout the state for the numerous fundraising and charitable events he conducts each year such as Ducks Unlimited, the National Wild Turkey Federation, and many other worthy organizations. The Dixie National Sale of Junior Champions has solicited Jackie's services for the past eight years. He has a general and livestock auctioneer license and is available to conduct auctions throughout the state. Jackie recently retired from Mississippi State University Extension Service after 35 years serving the people of Mississippi as a 4-H Agent, County Agricultural Agent, and Assistant Director for County Programs. His wife Dot, is a very accomplished artist and paints landscapes, stilllife's, portraits for many clients across the state. Jackie and Dot have three children and six grandchildren.
