Dear Fellow MAA Members: 

Well, this year has past so quickly it is hard to believe.  I hope all of you are having a great summer and are looking forward to attending our Fall cookout. 

This year the MAA was represented well at the NAA Convention in Nashville, Tennessee, with many members taking advantage of the educational seminars and the trade show activities.  Mr. William Head represented our state well as one of the NAA Directors at many of the events. It is great to see so many members striving to better their business through these opportunities.

Please make plans to attend the Fall Cookout at Mid-South Auctions in Pearl, MS. Lunch will start at 12:30 p.m. We will install three outstanding auctioneers into the MAA Hall of Fame at this meeting at approximately 1:30 p.m. and discuss a few items in regard to our annual meeting in January of 2009 following those presentations.

In closing, I appreciate the support each of you have extended me as your president for the past two years and I look forward to seeing each of you at the cookout.
